Vertigo

Colour studies, average 3" x 2"

Working on pulling together some ideas that have been bubbling - its going to mean a lot of experimentation and play in order to pull it off. Feeling a bit like stepping off the edge of a cliff as I am not sure how to even start. And I suffer
from vertigo!

Wow, these studies are little gems, Anita. Now I'm intrigued as to what you are planning.

If I ever manage to get out painting en plein air, I think I have finally realised coloured thumbnails would probably be a good idea.

Vertigo - awful, it comes and goes I find. Stress doesn't do much for it! I've never been able to work out why I don't feel it in an aircraft.

why not see your ideas as an adventure and not as a risk? whatever you are brewing up, i'm anxious to see it!

I don't like heights but like you flying doesn't bother me

I like working out little pieces like this. Its a way of putting the ideas into reality.

These snippets make me want to see more. When is the secret revealed?

Start with the first step. All the rest will follow. And you won't fall.

I can relate to the vertigo haha as I'm now living on the top floor of an apartment block...aghhh!

Robyn - quite fun doing little thumbnails. Really makes you think about what is essential in the picture!

Billie - it is an adventure, you're right!

Vivien - flying doesn't bother me either. Put me in a plane/helicopter and turn it upside down and it doesn't bother one bit!

Jeanette - its forecast for rain over the weekend so I may have playtime on this idea.\

Kim - lovely to hear from you - hope you are all settled into your new home!

Delightful soft studies in Vertigo and latest post, which I could not access the comments page for some reason to tell you how much I loved these little works of art in their own right. Look forward to seeing where they lead you in the end.
