Staircase
I've had one of those really frustrating days - had a list made of things to do - managed to do two of them. HUGE pile of ironing done including all the sheets! And I ordered my supply of walnuts and brazil nuts from my favourite supplier. Apart from that nothing done on my list.
Could not get myself motivated to do any art at all ................. well, I started several things. thought about a lot of things and did nothing at all. I've got a number of ideas brewing and as a result can't decide what to start with.
One thing I have been thinking about is having a separate blog for my sketches. I can't decide whether this would be a good thing or not.

I think all your work looks related in this blog and it is wonderful to see the variety in which you work. I do have a seperate blog for my abstracts because I think they are not related to my realism but I have also wondered if it is a good thing to seprate your art work with different blogs.
Great that you did 2 things on your list! I just finished one thing from my list from Thursday...gave up on my old printer, bought a new one, took 2 DAYS and 4 tech calls to techs who couldn't help me; finally figured it out by myself, but I didn't give up! I love the colors you use in your artwork; they're so soft.
Hi Anita,
This is my first visit to your blog and I have really enjoyed looking around. I love your pastel work and your cp values studies look like they were a lot of fun to do. I shall be back.
Mary - I can see why you have a separate blog for your abstracts. That is very logical. I have to admit that I don't think I could keep up with two.
Debbi - I think my problem is putting too many things on my list. If I only had three or four I wouldn't feel nearly so bad about not completing them all.
Teresa - thank you for visiting......off to see your blog!
I agree with Mary, Anita I think the variety of work on your blog is great. I personally love to be able to access it all on one blog. Besides you have your website to show your art in separate galleries.
Very nice mood in this sketch - particularly the trees - so there!
Robyn - I begin to think that to leave it as it is is probably better. Not sure how it works to change midstream!
My two blogs are very different - and I also post to them at a different frequency - and they make sense to me!
I think you're being too hard on yourself - thinking and mulling things over is also work even if it doesn't produce an immediate result. After all where would all those "I know what to do now" thoughts that we wake up with some mornings come from if we didn't do some mulling now and again! ;)
Katherine - I will remind myself that thinking is work in future. Wonder if my boss will buy that!
Goodness, there is a lot of effective info in this post!
