Vertical Limits - Charcoal

I've been rather tied up with a lot of stuff lately but have been working away slowly at this charcoal - a version of Vertical Limits that I did in pastels when we were in Saudi Arabia. Its been nice getting back to the subtlety of tonal values.

You are so adept at charcoal Anita. I love the subtle changes in light and pattern here.

A big *thumbsup* on this one, Anita! How do you get your lines so straight?!

Thank you Jeanette. I am really drawn to the dynamic of creating a realistic image that can become abstract through shapes.

Billie - thank you. Straight lines - using an eraser - a LOT!

Anita I have always seen that mastery you have with straight lines and also in your htching in the pastels. This is lovely and the light and softness gives it a very special touch.
