Seeing Red

Still playing with the red paper and reflections in the glass topped table. Using red paper has been a real test for me, pushes your way of thinking way of center and away from what you thought stood true.

I've just ordered some other coloured papers and it will be interesting to see how they are to work with. I am particularly looking forward to using the green.

Fabulous piece! I love how you 'see red' as well as the graphic quality of your rendering. I can't wait to see what you create on other coloured papers.

Another nice one on red, Anita. You manage these well!

Another lovely composition, Anita. The coloured grounds are so stimulating and they really make the other colours sing.

Very interesting process... do you find it hard to look at the paper when it's mostly red? I like the gentle strokes, all following the same direction.

Anita, I admire the challenges you set for yourself and the beautiful and impressive results! I particularly like the soft mystery of "Shadowy Corners" from your May 3 post.

So sorry you suffer from headaches & hope you can find some solutions and relief soon. I have finally shed (most of) my headache problems with the changes of a later stage in life, but do remember vividly how disabling severe headache pain can be. I truly feel for you.

Your Aspire Think Tank friend,
Mary
