Meadow

Meadows bordered with trees, filled with wild flowers, the warmth of the sun and smell of grass filling the air - my idea of heaven!

Hi Anita. The kind of heaven I go for too. Lovely colours, contrasts, aerial perspective and bursting with the feeling of a hot summer's day. Speaking of which, it's persisting down here again - how's the weather in Deutschland ?

Now this seems very different for your usual work.

I like it - but I'm trying to remember the name of the artist it reminds me of. That's a compliment BTW - it's a very good artist!

Lovely - you've really caught summer there and quietness

Quietness is nearly always a characteristic of your work - calm, tranquillity :>)

I came here through Michael's blog, Anita, I dare say you've got a huge talent! I love the key values, the lmited palette and the essentiality of your painting. This one reminds me of Cézanne...please don't stop!

These landscapes are very dreamy and soft. Beautiful work.

Thank you everyone for kind comments. My artistic soul has been floundering somewhat and your comments go a long way to boosting my creative spirit.
