Springtime

As promised some spring photos - didn't spend much time taking these, would have liked to have much longer but was lucky enough to catch the bumble bee making his rounds. The blossom is just about to come out on the citrus trees so there will be more pictures of that when it opens. I need to take a telephoto lens in too because there is one tree that I can't get close enough to take photos of the flowers but with the telephoto lens I might be able to get some closer shots.

These are pretty, Anita. We don't have flowers here yet, but soon. You make me hopeful.

Spring. I vaguely remember it. But I won't see flowers here for quite awhile yet, except for a few foolhardy crocuses who brave the last of the snow.

These are lovely photos Anita. You should take more.

I don't think I have ever been so thrilled to welcome Spring as I am this year. Gorgeous photos, Anita. Please keep them coming.

Vivien - it will be upon you before you know it!

Lisa - I have to admit I love photography. Could so easily have been my major medium.

KatieJane - I guess the one thing is that it will come eventually - guaranteed!

Jeanette - I know you have the longest wait ahead of you. I would find it hard being so far north.

Teresa - isn't it lucky we have the internet and can absorb each other's worlds?

Robyn - isn't it funny how some years you are more desperate for Spring than others?

How awesome to be somewhere warm like that-and beautiful flowers too!

Blu - the warmth comes with a price - its not the most peaceful neighbourhood in the world!
